Cessna 152
First introduced in 1977 the Cessna 152 was a modernized version of the Cessna 150. The 152 was designed to compete with the Piper Tomahawk and the Beechcraft Skipper, both of which were introduced in the same year. Additional design goals were to decrease internal and external noise levels and to improve useful load through a gross weight increase. The Cessna 152 was produced from 1977 to 1985. Over 7,500 examples of the 152 were built including the A152 and the FA152 Aerobat.
